Yaaay! It was cool to see my cover on the new Muppet Show comic book. I went to the post office and it was quite a surprise to get that envelope with a few copies of it inside!
What's even cooler is that the small details that I hid in the cover were not changed by the editors. My two guesses are that they like the hidden facts or they definitely didn't noticed at all.
Anyway, if you have a keen eye you will notice a couple of posters behind the Muppet bunch. Here's a close up on them:
Jim Henson was an extremely creative person and projects like The Cube or Time Piece were part of his legacy.
Altough The Cube was never realized, there are still a few pictures and concept drawings floating around the net and books.
Also...a bonus! If you look closely at Kermit's notebook, you will notice a classic list of guest stars for his show.
On the overall The Muppet Show comic book was extremely well done. Roger Langridge's writing is so clever! This IS a Muppet Show!
I'm so glad to be part of this project.
